According to insider Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the anticipated iPhone 17 Pro will not feature a new design. Instead, it is expected to resemble the iPhone 16 Pro closely, apart from some changes on the back.

While Apple is making several modifications, nothing particularly bold or drastic is anticipated in the aesthetics of the device. Gurman suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro will appear quite similar to its predecessor when viewed from the front.

The most significant alteration is likely to occur with the rear camera module, which is set to undergo a noteworthy redesign. Current leaks indicate that the camera island will stretch across the back of the iPhone, mirroring a design seen in Google’s Pixel series.

However, there’s a peculiar gap between the camera lenses and the flash module that raises questions about functionality and whether additional sensors are being hidden in that space. On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Air is shaping up to be the most notable design change.

Apple aims to achieve a remarkably thin profile with this model, possibly making it the thinnest iPhone ever produced. However, this pursuit of slimness may lead to compromises in specifications and features.

For instance, the iPhone 17 Air might be equipped with only a single-camera setup, a rarity in today’s market where even budget models often include multiple lenses.
