The OnePlus 13T is set to introduce an innovative customizable button, which will replace the traditional alert slider that has long been a staple of OnePlus smartphones. The announcement was made by OnePlus China President, Li Jie Louis, who provided a glimpse of this new feature along with some additional details.

The new button, referred to as the “Quick Key,” resembles a power button in size and shape. It will be prominently located on the left-hand side of the device, positioned towards the upper section.

According to company executives, the Quick Key will offer a functional upgrade over the alert slider, allowing users to easily toggle between mute, vibration, and ring modes. Additionally, it is designed to facilitate seamless transitions between various operational choices, enhancing the user experience.

The Quick Key has been described as “very practical,” and its customizable feature suggests that users will be able to personalize its functions to suit their preferences. This move aligns with OnePlus’s recent focus on making its devices more user-centric.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 13T is anticipated to feature a 6.3-inch display, making it a compact option for users. The device is expected to house a substantial battery, possibly ranging from 6,000mAh to 6,200mAh, along with 80W wired charging capabilities.

Furthermore, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with a dual-camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The OnePlus 13T is expected to launch both in China and internationally, generating excitement among OnePlus enthusiasts looking for fresh innovations.
