In April, Roku unveiled its new Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus, expanding its affordable streaming products line. The well-known media brand is also enhancing its 2025 product lineup with the addition of several new television models.

The refreshed selection includes updated versions of the Roku Select, Roku Plus, and Roku Pro series. Notably, the Roku Plus editions now feature enhancements previously exclusive to higher-end models.

Among these updates, the Pro Series televisions stand out with the introduction of Roku’s most advanced image processing engine yet, called Smart Picture Max. This engine performs 100 billion operations per frame, allowing for automatic scene-by-scene adjustments to picture settings.

This significantly improves motion clarity, reduces compression artifacts, and selects intelligent picture modes. Additionally, the Pro Series features a redesigned mini-LED backlight that minimizes blooming effects and achieves a dynamic contrast rate 75 percent superior to previous generations.

Roku is also integrating the Smart Picture Max engine into the Plus series TVs, marking the first time this feature has been extended beyond the Pro line. The updated Plus series televisions will include an on-TV remote control finder button, enhanced cable management, a built-in subwoofer for improved audio quality, and upgraded processor and memory architecture.

In addition to these improvements, the Select series models will benefit from new software upgrades available throughout the Roku lineup. These upgrades include features such as Daily Trivia notifications, short-form content rows for easier browsing, award badges, and game-time mobile notifications.

The new Select TV range provides a variety of HD, full HD, and native 4K resolution models, with 4K sets offering HDR10+ and Dolby Audio support. Roku’s Plus and Pro series will come in 55, 65, and 75-inch sizes, while the Select series will range from 24 to 85 inches.

The 2025 TVs will start at a price of $130 and will be available at major retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Amazon.
