Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for its mid-range Galaxy A-series smartphones, following the launch of the premium Galaxy S-series. Today, Samsung has officially begun to roll out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A53 in the US. The Galaxy A53 had previously received this update in Asian and European markets a few weeks ago.

According to sources, the One UI 7 update is now available for carrier-locked Galaxy A53 units in the US. The firmware version A536USQUEFYE4 is part of this update, which has a file size of approximately 3GB and includes the May 2025 security patch. Notably, this update is compatible with a wide range of US carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, Xfinity Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Dish, MetroPCS, Spectrum Mobile, and US Cellular. For those with factory-unlocked versions of the Galaxy A53, the One UI 7 update is expected to arrive shortly.

This latest iteration brings a host of new features, including a redesigned user interface, updated app icons, and an option for a customizable lock screen. Users can also look forward to enhanced widget customization, larger home screen folders, and various AI-integrated features. Installing the update is a straightforward process.
