Samsung continues to enhance the functionality of its devices with the One UI 7 update, while also prioritizing the release of crucial security patches. Recently, the company has begun distributing the June 2025 security update for the Galaxy A56, aimed at bolstering the security of its users. The June 2025 update is now being rolled out to the Galaxy A56, following its initial launch for the Galaxy S25 series.
This monthly security update targets system vulnerabilities, ensuring that users have a safer experience while using their smartphones. The current rollout is for the SM-A566B variant, which is available in regions including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, though users in other locations may need to wait longer for access. To install the update, users should navigate to Settings, then Software update, and select Download and install.
It is advisable to connect to a stable Wi-Fi network during the installation process to avoid disruptions. Additionally, creating a backup of important data is recommended to safeguard against any potential data loss during the update. The June 2025 patch addresses 19 vulnerabilities present in Samsung’s software alongside multiple high-risk vulnerabilities in the Android operating system.
While this update is focused on security enhancements, it does not introduce any new features for the Galaxy A56. Other eligible models will receive this update in the coming days, although Samsung has yet to specify which models will be included or the timeline for their updates.
