Just weeks after OPPO launched its Find X8s series and Find X8 Ultra smartphones, rumors about the upcoming Find X9 Ultra are already making rounds online. Although it seems OPPO might not unveil the Find X9 Ultra until the first quarter of next year, Digital Chat Station, a well-known tech tipster on Weibo, has shared potential camera specifications ahead of any formal announcements. The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature four primary cameras, aligning with the configuration of its predecessor, the Find X8 Ultra.

According to the tipster, the flagship may include a remarkable 200-megapixel main camera along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. In addition, two periscope telephoto cameras are expected, one with 200MP and another with 50MP. In contrast, the Find X8 Ultra showcases four 50-megapixel cameras, which consist of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and two telephoto shooters with 3x and 6x optical zoom.

OPPO developed this camera module in collaboration with Hasselblad, and it is anticipated that they will maintain this partnership for the Find X9 Ultra. Rumors suggest that the next OPPO flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, set for release in September. Additionally, the Find X9 Ultra may sport a 6.82-inch flat OLED display boasting a “2K+” resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device is likely to run on ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16, and OPPO is expected to reveal this operating system between July and September. While further details regarding other specifications, such as the selfie camera, battery capacity, and charging speeds, remain scarce, more information is likely to surface soon. Keep an eye out for updates!
