Samsung has established itself as a leader in the earbuds market, offering a range of high-quality products. Among these is the more budget-friendly Galaxy Buds FE, priced at $99.

These earbuds have garnered attention for their exceptional performance, earning a five-star review from Android Headlines. They deliver impressive audio quality, battery life, and active noise cancellation (ANC) that often rival more expensive models.

However, the time has come for the Galaxy Buds FE to move aside, as rumors suggest Samsung is preparing to launch their successors, the Galaxy Buds Core. Current speculation indicates that the Galaxy Buds Core may be unveiled at Samsung’s upcoming Summer Unpacked event.

It was initially anticipated that the next generation would be named the Galaxy Buds FE 2, but reports indicate a potential redesign for Samsung’s affordable earbud line. While details about this new design remain unknown, it’s likely that more information will surface through leaks ahead of the official announcement.

The model number for the Galaxy Buds Core is SM-R410, closely resembling the Galaxy Buds FE’s SM-R400 designation, which strengthens the notion that these are indeed successors. Recent sightings of the earbuds on support pages for markets in Russia, Turkey, India, and the UAE, along with their appearance on regulatory websites, suggest that they are nearing release.

Notably, the Galaxy Buds FE have become unavailable in several markets, indicating a transition towards the new model. So far, the only confirmed specification appears to be related to the battery capacity.

Sources hint at the case potentially housing a 500mAh battery, marking a slight increase over the Buds FE’s 479mAh. Additionally, each earbud could feature a 100mAh battery, representing a significant upgrade from the current 60mAh.

As the anticipated launch date approaches, more information about the Galaxy Buds Core is expected to emerge.
