Specifications for the OnePlus Nord 5 have recently come to light, with the phone anticipated to debut this summer, following the launch of the Nord 4 in July of last year. Debayan Roy, a well-known tipster, has shared some exciting details on social media platform X. At the core of the OnePlus Nord 5 will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, which is expected to serve as a lower-tier variant of the Dimensity 9400.

This chipset is seen as a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor that powered the OnePlus Nord 4. The 9400e promises enhanced performance, making it an appealing option for mid-range users. The OnePlus Nord 5 is also rumored to sport a flat 1.5K OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Battery life looks set to impress with an estimated capacity of around 7,000mAh, along with support for 100W wired charging, which will be a key selling point. On the camera front, the device is expected to feature two rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera will be included.

Other features hint at a plastic frame complemented by a glass back, an IR blaster positioned on top, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers for enhanced audio. Pricing for the OnePlus Nord 5 is speculated to be around INR30,000 (approximately $355). However, if launched in Europe or the United States, prices may be higher.

The phone is expected to arrive mid-year, likely in July, although no official confirmation has been provided regarding its launch or existence.
