These updates appear to be more of an optimization rather than a complete overhaul, aligning with Google’s forthcoming desktop mode. From the leaked images, it seems users can expect familiar features such as a window management system, a taskbar for seamless app switching, and an app drawer to organize installed applications. Moreover, a redesigned Quick Settings panel should allow for quicker access to commonly used toggles. The unveiling of One UI 8 alongside new foldable devices during Samsung’s Unpacked event in July 2025 is anticipated, with a beta release expected as early as June.
