Samsung has commenced the rollout of its Android 15-based One UI 7 software update to several Galaxy smartphone models. This development follows a week-long pause during which Samsung resolved certain bugs that were affecting the update. The devices receiving the One UI 7 update include the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, S23 FE, and the Galaxy S22 series.

The initial rollout began in South Korea, but users in other regions can expect to see the update soon, if they haven’t received it already. Reports indicate that the European rollout for the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 has already started. These recent updates come on the heels of previous releases for other models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and more.

As of April 2025, the Galaxy S24 series and Z Fold 6 were included, while the subsequent month saw updates for the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and S23 FE. This significant update introduces major changes to Samsung’s Android interface. It features a revamped user interface, enhanced animations, and the new ‘Now Bar’.

Additionally, new Galaxy AI capabilities and various security improvements have been integrated. Users will notice that the Quick Panel now has a more polished appearance, reflecting the most substantial One UI update in years concerning its aesthetics. Importantly, this update includes the April 2025 security patch, ensuring that users benefit from the latest features, the upgraded Android version, and enhanced security measures in one comprehensive package.
