Motorola has made significant strides in the color offerings of its smartphones, introducing some vibrant hues and unique materials. The 2025 Motorola Razr maintains this trend, showcasing a variety of striking colors for its models. Beginning with the entry-level Motorola Razr, this flip phone is available in four distinct colors: PANTONE Spring Bud, PANTONE Gibraltar Sea, PANTONE Parfait Pink, and PANTONE Lightest Sky.
The Spring Bud presents a refreshing light green shade, while the Gibraltar Sea features a deeper blue, reminiscent of hues seen in Motorola’s Moto G phones. Although not showcased at the recent event, the PANTONE Parfait Pink is described as a delicate light pink. Lastly, the Lightest Sky offers a textured white finish that is visually appealing.
The Motorola Razr Plus also features an impressive palette, consisting of PANTONE Mocha Mousse, PANTONE Midnight Blue, and PANTONE Hot Pink. Notably, the Mocha Mousse incorporates recycled coffee grounds into the design, providing a subtle coffee scent. The Midnight Blue offers a dark tone, while the Hot Pink stands out with its vibrant brightness.
Each of these colors has a soft-touch finish, and both Midnight Blue and Hot Pink utilize a faux leather material. The Razr Ultra takes color and material options to the next level, presenting four choices: PANTONE Rio Red, PANTONE Scarab, PANTONE Mountain Trail, and PANTONE Cabaret. The Rio Red is a bold and bright option, paired with a matching frame.
The Scarab, a dark green, contrasts with the bright Cabaret, which offers a shade distinct from the Hot Pink of the Razr Plus. My personal favorite is the Mountain Trail, featuring a wood-like material that provides a remarkable look and feel. Meanwhile, the Rio Red and Cabaret options evoke a leather-like texture, and Scarab incorporates Alcantara, marking an industry-first for the Razr Ultra.
