The Motorola Razr Plus is positioned as the “middle child” within the Razr 2025 lineup, but it stands out with impressive specifications. It boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, making it a compelling option at a price point of $999. Originally, the Razr Plus was considered the premium model until Motorola introduced an “Ultra” variant this year, targeting a global audience including the US market. In terms of its physical attributes, the Razr Plus is available in several vivid colors, such as PANTONE Mocha Mousse, PANTONE Midnight Blue, and PANTONE Hot Pink.

Each option features a soft-touch back made from faux leather, with the PANTONE Mocha Mousse variant incorporating recycled coffee grounds into its design. While it looks appealing, it unfortunately does not carry the aroma of coffee. These color choices are notably striking in a market often dominated by neutral colors like black, white, and silver. Surprisingly, Motorola reported during their briefing that 65% of the phones sold last year were in non-neutral shades, indicating a strong consumer preference for vibrant options among their customers.

For those interested in obtaining the Razr Plus, pre-orders are set to commence on May 7, through retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola’s own website. The official release date is scheduled for May 15, with availability through AT&T and T-Mobile, maintaining its competitive price of $999. The Razr Plus aims to combine high-end features with eye-catching aesthetics, satisfying both performance and style preferences in the smartphone market.
