In today’s smartphone market, the camera has emerged as the key feature of any device, including foldable phones like the new Motorola Razr. Motorola has revamped its camera offerings across its Razr lineup, maintaining a telephoto lens in the Razr Plus while opting for an ultrawide lens in the Razr and Razr Ultra. Let’s explore the camera specifications for each model. The Razr is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, complemented by a 13-megapixel ultrawide and macro vision camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the Razr Plus features a 50-megapixel “high res” primary camera along with a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Notably, the Razr Ultra stands out as the first flip phone to incorporate three 50-megapixel cameras, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide and macro lens, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Motorola has also integrated advanced AI features within the Razr 2025 series cameras. Their AI-powered Photo Enhancement Engine enhances dynamic range, reduces noise, and captures finer details.

It includes a Signature Style feature that adapts to the user’s personal photography preferences, akin to the Photographic Styles introduced by Apple for their iPhones. Additionally, the Razr Ultra boasts exclusive features such as Group Shot, which quickly captures multiple frames and blends them to ensure everyone in a photo has their eyes open. Action Shot captures dynamic movements—adjusting the shutter speed to reduce blur in fast-moving subjects. Lastly, Air Gesture allows users to take photos and control video recording with simple hand gestures, making it easy to use with the foldable form factor, particularly when propped up for hands-free recording.
