Interestingly, 9to5Google noted changes to the code strings within the Android Auto app since the beta release. These findings previously pointed towards potential integration for navigation with smart glasses, highlighted by a string indicating “Start navigation to launch Glasses.”

However, this particular reference has been removed in the stable Android Auto 14.2 update, leaving the functionality in question. Looking ahead, other updates are anticipated, including potential features related to air conditioning for vehicles.

Last month’s APK teardown hinted at functionalities such as recirculation and windshield defrosting, but the timeline for their release remains uncertain. If implemented, these features would certainly be beneficial for vehicle owners.
