Sony has announced an exciting lineup of games set to join the PlayStation Plus catalog for April. This month, a total of eight new titles will be added, with two of them being new releases available on their launch day. PlayStation Plus offers gamers the chance to download and play a variety of games without having to purchase them outright, making it a fantastic opportunity to explore new content.

To access the PlayStation Plus catalog, a subscription to either PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra is required. However, the Essential plan also provides subscribers with free monthly games. Sony continually expands this catalog, adding a mix of indie gems and major AAA titles every month.

April’s offerings feature some impressive game selections. A standout addition this month is Hogwarts Legacy, where players immerse themselves in a magical world as wizards casting spells. The game encourages exploration of the enchanting Hogwarts Castle and its surrounding areas, showcasing stunning graphics and engaging combat mechanics.

If Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t appeal to you, there are several other games this month worth checking out. In addition to Hogwarts Legacy, the catalog will include seven other titles. These games comprise Blue Prince, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage – Tape 2, EA Sports PGA Tour, Battlefield 1, and PlateUp!.

Subscribers on Extra and Premium plans will have access to these games, while Premium users will also enjoy Alone in the Dark 2 and War of the Monsters. It’s important to note that not all games stay in the catalog indefinitely, as Sony regularly cycles titles in and out. While no games have been announced for removal this month, it’s wise to keep an eye on the catalog to ensure you finish any games you might be playing.

Most of the new titles will be available by April 15. Today, on April 10, players can dive into Blue Prince and EA Sports PGA Tour. The remaining games will be accessible starting next Tuesday, April 15.
