Razer has officially unveiled its PC Remote Play feature, which lets gamers stream their game libraries from PC directly to mobile devices. This capability, initially teased during CES 2025, allows users to enjoy gaming on the go.

The beta version was launched on the same day as the announcement. PC Remote Play serves as Razer’s equivalent to Steam Link, enabling seamless streaming of games across both Android and iOS platforms.

Gamers can use this service “anywhere, anytime,” though certain requirements must be met for optimal performance. First and foremost, the PC must be powered on, and both the PC and the mobile device need a stable internet connection.

Additionally, users must install the Razer Nexus app and the Razer PC Remote Play app on their mobile devices, along with the Razer Cortex app on their PCs to facilitate communication between the two devices. One of the standout features of Razer PC Remote Play is its support for various game clients, including Steam, the Epic Games Store, PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect.

This diversity allows users to stream games from multiple platforms, thereby broadening their gaming experience. Authentication requires a Razer ID, ensuring that users have consistent access to their accounts on both PC and mobile.

Furthermore, connecting a compatible controller, such as the Razer Kishi Ultra or DualSense, enhances the gaming experience. Moreover, PC Remote Play integrates Sensa HD haptics, particularly effective with Razer peripherals like the Kraken V4 Pro and specific controllers.

It also optimizes the resolution and refresh rate of the PC’s display for superior gameplay on mobile devices. After testing the feature following its official launch, it seems to function effectively.

However, utilizing a controller is essential for the best experience.
