The specifications, design, and price of the CMF Buds 2 have recently been leaked ahead of their official launch on April 28th. This event will also introduce the CMF Phone 2 Pro along with the Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus.

An exclusive report from 91mobiles and tipster Sudhanshu provides insights into the design, features, and pricing of the CMF Buds 2. In terms of design, the Buds 2 carry case adopts a familiar square shape, featuring the CMF by Nothing logo and a distinct wheel design reminiscent of its predecessor.

Inside, there is a “Buds” text and a pairing button for easy connectivity with devices such as phones, tablets, or computers. The earbuds themselves have an angled, in-ear stem design, equipped with magnetic charging pins and microphones for noise cancellation and voice calls.

They will be available in three color options: Black, Orange, and Green. As for specifications, the CMF Buds 2 are equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers, incorporating a PMI diaphragm tuned by Dirac Opteo for enhanced sound quality.

They feature active noise cancellation rated at up to 48dB, along with Environmental Adaptive ANC, which adjusts in real-time. Additional features include Clear Voice Technology 3.0, Wind Noise Reduction 3.0, and AI integration with ChatGPT via an accompanying app.

The earbuds boast an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, along with a low-lag mode for seamless connectivity. They support Bluetooth 5.4, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair, allowing in-ear detection and customizable EQ and ANC settings through the Nothing X app.

Battery performance is impressive, with up to 13.5 hours of use on a single charge and 55 hours with the charging case. In terms of pricing, the CMF Buds 2 are tipped to retail at EUR 59 (approximately Rs 5,800).

While this represents a slight increase from the pricing of the first-gen CMF Buds, they still remain an affordable option for consumers. CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, was introduced in 2023 by CEO Carl Pei.

The aim is to provide cost-effective devices with the same design ethos as Nothing’s products. The addition of the CMF Buds 2 continues the brand’s expansion into more accessible technology.
