OPPO has officially launched the Find X8 Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone designed to take on competitors like the Vivo X200 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This device is remarkable for its slim profile, despite housing four 50MP cameras and a substantial 6,100mAh battery. Notably, it is the first OPPO smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The Find X8 Ultra joins the Find X8 series, which made its debut late last year. This model stands out with a full Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, featuring an 8-core configuration, along with options for up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Users can expect impressive performance given these specifications.

The handset is equipped with a stunning 6.82-inch flat AMOLED display that supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and boasts a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The massive 6100mAh battery is compatible with 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging, 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. A significant highlight of the Find X8 Ultra is its Next-Gen Penta Camera System.

This includes a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP 3x Telephoto sensor, and a 50MP 6x Telephoto sensor. The primary camera features the new Sony LYT-900 sensor, distinguished by having the largest sensor size in a smartphone. The advanced lens design enhances light intake, resulting in exceptional image quality.

In addition, the Find X8 Ultra incorporates OPPO’s new HyperTone Image Engine to optimize computational photography under challenging lighting conditions. This model also introduces an upgraded Master Mode alongside Telemacro capabilities, making it an appealing choice for photography enthusiasts. The design of the Find X8 Ultra signifies a shift in user experience, as the familiar Alert Slider has been removed in favor of a customizable Shortcut Button.

At just 8.78mm thick, it proudly holds the title of being the slimmest camera phone on the market, achieved through innovative internal engineering. Pricing and availability details have yet to be announced.
