Vivo has announced an exciting new accessory for its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the Vivo X200 Ultra, which aims to enhance its photography capabilities significantly. This accessory, which is a 2-in-1 photography kit, will be sold separately and will not be included in the phone’s package. Apart from boosting photography functions, this kit will also serve as a power bank for the device. The photography kit is designed to make the Vivo X200 Ultra a formidable camera.

It features a built-in 2,300mAh power bank and connects to the smartphone through a Type-C port. Details shared by Vivo’s Product Manager, Hano Boxiao, reveal that the accessory includes an integrated kickstand and a dedicated button for video recording. The design takes inspiration from retro cameras and comes with a shoulder strap for user convenience. Additionally, the Product Manager hinted at a “secret” feature that will be unveiled at a later date.

Speculations suggest this may involve a camera lens support, enhancing its photography capabilities even further. Vivo’s Product VP, Huang Tao, has promoted this device as a “pocket smart camera that can make calls,” indicating the brand’s focus on merging smartphone and camera technology. The Vivo X200 Ultra sets high expectations as it follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, the Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro, which are already celebrated for their exceptional camera quality. The official launch is scheduled for April 21, alongside several other products, though it remains uncertain whether this model will be available globally, similar to the Vivo X200 Pro.

With the new accessory, Vivo aims to elevate the photography experience for smartphone users.
