Users in the US will have to wait a few days to experience Samsung’s One UI 7 update. The rollout is set to begin on April 10, shortly after the global release that started recently. This substantial update, which exceeds 5GB in size, promises significant enhancements. Samsung initiated the rollout of One UI 7 for selected devices yesterday.
The initial batch included the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. However, it appears that users in the US have not yet received the update, but they can expect it to arrive soon. According to a report from SamMobile, the One UI 7 update will begin rolling out to US users later this week. More specifically, the official launch date is set for April 10, as confirmed by Samsung during their announcement of the stable One UI 7 release.
As this update is based on Android 15, users have been eagerly awaiting its arrival, especially with Android 16 already on the horizon. One UI 7 introduces a redesigned user interface, enhanced performance, and improvements to Galaxy AI, among various other updates. Samsung is also adding features like the Now Bar widget and several smart functionalities. Given the update’s large size, users will need to download over 5GB if they are currently using the stable One UI 6 version.
In addition to the devices that have already started receiving the update, several others are scheduled to be included throughout April, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10+/S10 Ultra, S23/S23+/S23 Ultra, and S24 FE. Additional devices are set to follow in May and June, providing a comprehensive rollout for Samsung users.
