The OnePlus 12 is now receiving an important update that includes the March 2025 security patch along with some exciting new features. This global update not only enhances the device’s security but also improves user experience with new functionalities. The update is categorized as OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 and is based on Android 15.

One of the key enhancements in this update is the introduction of resizable folders on the home screen. Users can easily resize these folders by dragging them to a 1×2 or 2×1 configuration. Additionally, the dock can now accommodate up to five apps, even if the home screen displays only four apps in each row.

This flexible customization allows for a more tailored home screen experience. Moreover, the update includes improvements to the music player controls, particularly for Spotify, through Live Alerts. Another notable enhancement involves resetting your privacy password, which has now been streamlined.

Users will receive a prompt to link their privacy password to their account, enabling them to reset it through their account if forgotten, thus safeguarding access to private data. This new update is being rolled out gradually, but it is expected to reach a wide range of users in the near future. The rollout commenced in India about a week ago.

Following a smooth initial phase with no significant bugs detected, OnePlus has expanded the update to other global markets. Users should keep an eye on their devices, as the update should be available soon if it has not already been received.
