A recent report highlighted concerns regarding the expected costs of Samsung’s next foldable devices. However, a new leak suggests a more optimistic outlook on the pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. While the premium Z Fold is expected to keep its current price in Europe, the more compact Z Flip may actually launch at a lower price compared to its predecessor. According to the leaks, the 256GB model of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in Europe might be priced at €1,099, which is a substantial €100 reduction from the Z Flip 6’s launch price of €1,199.

Additionally, the 512GB variant could see a price drop to €1,219 from its predecessor’s €1,319. This potential price cut is particularly significant given the intense competition in the market, especially from Motorola and its Razr devices that have gained popularity. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears set to maintain its pricing in Europe. Reports indicate that the 256GB model will start at €1,999, while the 512GB and 1TB versions could be priced at €2,119 and €2,359, respectively.

This stability in pricing is encouraging, especially since the device is expected to come with various enhancements. These pricing strategies also bode well for the anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (Fan Edition). A price reduction for the standard Flip 7 suggests Samsung may avoid raising the base price only to offer the Fan Edition at a previous year’s entry cost, which consumers are likely to appreciate. While these rumors seem credible, it is crucial to remember that nothing is confirmed until Samsung makes an official announcement.

Nonetheless, eager customers can reserve their Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 on Samsung’s website, which offers early bonuses for pre-orders. The launch is scheduled for July 9 during Samsung’s second Unpacked event of the year.
