JBL has recently unveiled the Endurance Zone earbuds, an innovative pair of open-ear true wireless earbuds designed specifically for sports enthusiasts and regular exercisers. This marks JBL’s first foray into open-ear audio technology, aimed at enhancing the listening experience by providing a sound profile similar to that of open-back headphones. A significant benefit of this design is the heightened spatial awareness, allowing users to remain attuned to their surroundings while enjoying music. Targeted towards individuals who exercise outdoors or in bustling gyms, the JBL Endurance Zone earbuds emphasize the importance of being aware of one’s environment during workouts.

The unique ear hook design ensures a secure fit, reminiscent of other open-ear models like the OpenRock S2, making them suitable for various physical activities. These earbuds boast an IP68 rating, confirming their resistance to water and dust, which is crucial for active users. Additionally, each earbud includes dual beamforming microphones, making for clearer phone calls. JBL offers the Endurance Zone in a range of five attractive colors: Black/Gray, Black/Lime, Purple/Grape, Blue/White, and White/Orange.

The JBL Endurance Zone earbuds are set to launch in July, with an expected price of €129.99 in Europe, translating to approximately $151.53 based on current conversion rates. In the UK, the price is listed at £119.99. Each pair features up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge, with the charging case extending this time to 24 hours. Impressively, a quick 10-minute charge provides around three hours of listening time, ensuring users remain powered up throughout their day.

Moreover, the earbuds come in a color-matched case equipped with a lanyard hole for easy portability.
