Samsung is set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9th, where the highly anticipated Galaxy Watch 8 series will be unveiled, featuring the new One UI 8 Watch. Ahead of this launch, the tech giant has indicated a number of innovative health features that will be available with the upcoming wrist-worn devices, thanks to the latest operating system update. As we look forward to the release of the One UI 8 Watch beta, recent leaks suggest that this rollout is imminent.
Earlier today, a post on X by a user named *@Theordysm* caught the attention of *SammyGuru*, revealing evidence of the upcoming One UI 8 Watch beta. A screenshot from Samsung’s US community forum shows a dedicated section titled “One UI 8 Watch beta forum,” signaling that the beta program could begin in the coming days. Typically, this beta will be accessible for eligible Galaxy Watch models in the US and South Korea first, with plans to extend to other regions later.
As we await further developments, there are several exciting features expected with One UI 8 Watch. One of the highlights is Bedtime Guidance, a feature designed to help users optimize their sleep schedules. Additionally, the software will introduce Vascular Load, which monitors stress on the vascular system during sleep.
Other features include Running Coach and Antioxidant Index, which aim to enhance user fitness tracking. The One UI 8 Watch beta is reportedly set to be compatible with several models, including the Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. However, it appears that the Galaxy Watch 4 will not receive the beta, and it remains uncertain if the Galaxy Watch FE will participate in the initial beta, though it may get the stable version later on.
