Following the announcement of the Google Pixel 10 specifications last week, we are excited to present the details of the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. While these two Pro models mostly maintain the design seen in the Google Pixel 9 Pro lineup from the previous year, there are still notable features worth highlighting. Both models will feature stunning displays, including a 6.3-inch screen on the Pixel 10 Pro and a larger 6.8-inch display on the Pro XL. These displays will utilize LTPO technology with refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

Additionally, both devices will be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back. Under the hood, both Pro variants will be powered by the Tensor G5 processor and equipped with 16GB of RAM. Storage options will vary slightly; the Pixel 10 Pro will come with options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. However, the Pro XL will forgo the 128GB variant, offering 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options only.

This pricing strategy raises concerns about an increase in costs for the Pro XL, which mirrors the approach taken by Apple with its iPhone models. Interestingly, the camera systems in the Pro models remain largely unchanged. Both devices will feature a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP 5x telephoto lens, alongside a 42MP front camera. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses will support macro photography, with differing focus capabilities for optimal results.

On the battery front, the Pixel 10 Pro will house a 4,870mAh battery, slightly smaller than its predecessor. In contrast, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will feature the largest battery ever installed in a Pixel device, boasting a capacity of 5,200mAh. Both models will benefit from improved charging speeds of 29W and 39W, alongside 15W wireless charging, thanks to Qi2 technology. The release date for the Google Pixel 10 is anticipated for August 28, following an announcement scheduled for August 20.
