As we approach the Unpacked event, we’ve been able to preview Samsung’s official cases for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The lineup includes several options: the Silicon Case, Carbon Shield Case, Clear Case, and an anti-reflective screen protector. The Silicon Case is anticipated to be a favorite among users this year, featuring a convenient kickstand.

Notably, the traditional carrying grip has been removed, and the “Fold” branding now appears on the kickstand itself. Aside from these changes, it closely resembles last year’s version but is available in new color options including Black, Gray, Blue, and Mint. Given that last year’s pricing was $84.99, a similar cost can be expected for this iteration.

Pre-ordering through the Galaxy Reserve program can provide benefits such as a $50 credit towards the Galaxy Z Fold 7, along with triple points on purchases and a chance to win $5,000. Moving on to the Clear Case, this model features a stylish ring around the camera area, appealing to those who appreciate that detail. Unlike the Silicon Case, it includes a carrying grip on the back and is designed as a single piece covering the phone’s rear.

This design likely accommodates the phone’s slim profile and reduced bezels. Last year’s Clear Case retailed for $49.99, setting expectations for similar pricing. Introducing the Carbon Shield Case, this new option brings a sleek design reminiscent of thin carbon fiber cases offered by other brands.

It features a beveled edge for camera protection and precise cutouts for buttons and ports. This case may also come with a small front piece secured by adhesive, paralleling many foldable cases in the market. Lastly, the anti-reflective film screen protector suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may not include Gorilla Glass Armor 2, a feature we hoped for.

The pricing is likely to remain around last year’s $29.99, affirming its accessibility.
