Users can easily manage light settings, such as adjusting brightness, by simply speaking to the assistant. However, the same command to change the color of the lights often results in an error message stating that the lights are offline, despite their status showing them as online in the app.

The bug appears to specifically affect Google Assistant, raising questions since Google is in the midst of transitioning from Google Assistant to a new system called Gemini. However, most indications suggest this is an ordinary bug rather than an intentional change related to this transition.
