Samsung commenced the rollout of its stable One UI 7 update in early April 2025, starting with high-end devices such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. Now, the focus is shifting towards more affordable and mid-range models.

The Android 15-based One UI 7 update has officially launched for the Galaxy A54 in the United States. The rollout initially began last month in Korea and Europe for the Galaxy A54 5G, and it has now expanded to include units in the US.

Currently, the update is being made available for carrier-locked Galaxy A54 devices, primarily for users on Metro PCS, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Cricket Wireless, and Tracfone. Over the following days, Samsung plans to widen its distribution to other carriers and unlock units.

The update for the Galaxy A54 carries the firmware number “A546USQUBDYE5” and is approximately 3.5GB in size. This new software not only introduces several features from One UI 7, including new app icons, widgets, animations, and AI integration, but also incorporates the May 2025 security patch.

In addition, Samsung is expected to roll out the One UI 7 update to various other devices this month. Handsets such as the Galaxy A05s, A14, A15, A16, and A25 will receive the update soon, along with the Galaxy A33, A34, A35, A53, and A55.

Other devices slated for the update include the Galaxy M33, M54, and XCover series models. Furthermore, Galaxy A9+, Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, Galaxy Tab Active 5, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will also be updated shortly, with Galaxy Tab A9 users set to receive the software in July.
