The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are anticipated to be available soon, though specific release dates have yet to be confirmed. However, based on ongoing rumors and some official announcements, we can make some educated guesses about their availability. Samsung is slated to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, where these new folding devices, alongside the expected Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, are expected to be revealed.

Recently, a rumor surfaced suggesting that the availability of both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 might occur in August. While it’s essential to treat this information cautiously, it still holds some weight. Reports from Weibo by Instant Digital indicate that after their unveiling in July, Samsung plans to make these devices available for purchase shortly thereafter, potentially within a few weeks.

Samsung has a history of launching its foldables just weeks after their announcement. For instance, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were unveiled on July 10, 2024, and became available on July 24, a two-week gap. Similarly, the previous models, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, were announced on July 24, 2023, and launched on August 11, which is about 16 days later.

If Samsung maintains this schedule, we might see the new foldables hitting the shelves in late July. In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, a third device, a tri-fold phone, is rumored to be unveiled at the same Unpacked event. However, its availability is expected to be much later, with launches rumored for October this year.
