In just a few days, Nothing will officially reveal its much-anticipated Phone (3), and we are excited to share some official renders of the device. The design remains consistent with the unique aesthetic seen in the recently launched Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro.
Both models have set a distinct tone in smartphone design, and the Phone (3) will add to this portfolio, being offered in classic black and white colors, though one of the shades may be referred to as “gray.” One of the standout features of the Nothing Phone (3) is its unconventional camera arrangement.
Unlike traditional phone designs where cameras are typically aligned, the top lens of this model does not align with the others, adding an element of intrigue to its overall look. Under the hood, the Nothing Phone (3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
This choice has sparked some controversy among potential users, as Nothing had previously touted this model as its first “true flagship” device. Many expected it to incorporate the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is indeed more costly.
However, the brand opted for the more affordable Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Another notable confirmation from Nothing is the integration of a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, which distinguishes itself as the top camera lens, again not aligned with the others.
Although there are rumors regarding the use of triple 50-megapixel sensors, only the periscope lens has been officially acknowledged. Additional specifications for the Nothing Phone (3) suggest a robust 5,150mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 15W wireless charging.
It will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution at a 20:9 aspect ratio. The official announcement is scheduled for July 1 at 18:00 BST, which translates to 1 PM ET and 10 AM PT for US audiences.
