ASUS showcased its innovations at this year’s Computex, unveiling a range of gaming laptops and other exciting devices. Among these announcements was the ASUS ExpertBook P3 series, a collection of AI-powered workstation laptops that caught our attention, earning a spot on our Best of Computex 2025 awards list.
Available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, these laptops feature advanced AMD Ryzen AI PRO 7 processors. The ExpertBook P3 series promises impressive performance and extended battery life.
The processors, providing a 45W thermal design power (TDP), can deliver up to 66 total system TOPS of AI capabilities. The laptops are equipped with a robust 70Wh battery, and ASUS’s ExpertCool thermal technology ensures that the devices remain cool, whether in use or not.
Additionally, the series incorporates a durable full metal chassis. Connectivity is a priority, with various I/O ports available.
Users will find two USB-A Gen 3.2 and two USB-C ports, alongside an audio jack, HDMI 2.1 port, a Kensington nano security slot, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Ports are strategically distributed across both sides of the laptop for convenient access.
The ExpertBook P3 series also features a spacious trackpad and a fingerprint scanner for added security. Pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro, the devices include displays that boast a 2.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and anti-glare technology.
Durability is another highlight, as the laptops meet the MIL-STD-810H military standard. In terms of specifications, users can expect up to 64GB of DDR5 dual-channel RAM and up to 3TB of dual SSD storage.
This configuration is designed to handle multitasking and demanding workloads with ease. While pricing details remain undisclosed, the performance offered indicates that these laptops may come with a significant investment.
