It was suggested that this battery could have fit well with the Galaxy S25 Edge, but reports indicate that the phone is slated to come with a standard 3,900mAh battery, potentially limiting its performance. The information about the tri-fold device’s battery comes from a source known as PandaFlash X, which has previously provided insights into the device’s design.

Samsung plans to unveil its first tri-fold smartphone later this year, potentially alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 during its second Unpacked event, which may take place in July. Well-respected leaker Ice Universe has predicted that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will stand out for its remarkable thinness, measuring just 3.9mm when unfolded.
This thinness could support the use of a silicon-carbon battery, aligning with the trend in advanced smartphone design aimed at maximizing performance without compromising on size.
