On Tuesday, realme unveiled its complete GT7 lineup in Paris, France, including the much-anticipated GT7 model. This announcement follows last year’s debut of the high-end GT7 Pro, which arrived shortly after the Snapdragon 8 Elite was announced at the Snapdragon Summit. Alongside the standard model, realme revealed the GT7 Dream Edition, a collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team.
The realme GT7, while a notch below the GT7 Pro, still showcases impressive flagship features. It is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, a more efficient iteration of the Dimensity 9400. It offers options for 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, all backed by a remarkable 7,000mAh battery—its standout feature.
One of the highlights of the GT7 is its stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Unlike the quad-curved display of the GT7 Pro, this flat panel is excellent for both watching videos and gaming. The device has an impressive capability; the battery, coupled with the Dimensity 9400e, enables gaming at 120fps for up to 7 hours of uninterrupted play on PUBG.
Remarkably, it manages to retain power even after extensive use, maintaining a stable temperature around 40 degrees Celsius. In terms of photography, the GT7 features a triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. While its camera specifications don’t reach the highest tier of smartphones, they are adequate for capturing quality images, catering to a more budget-friendly market compared to its competitors.
The GT7 Dream Edition is an exciting variant, showcasing a striking design inspired by Aston Martin. It features a unique aerodynamic two-wing design, the iconic silver wings badge, and Aston Martin Green accents. Internally, it offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, maintaining the core specs of the standard GT7.
