HONOR has officially announced the launch date for its new mid-range smartphones, the HONOR 400 series. Set to be unveiled on May 22, the press event will take place in London. The company’s confirmation was shared via social media, accompanied by a teaser video that showcases the design we have been anticipating.

The upcoming HONOR 400 series has been the subject of various leaks, and the teaser video aligns with these previous revelations regarding the devices’ design. In terms of photography capabilities, the HONOR 400 will feature two cameras on the rear, while the HONOR 400 Pro will incorporate three. The camera module will be uniquely shaped and located in the top-left corner of the phone’s back.

Both models will have flat front and back sides, as well as a sleek frame. The power/lock and volume buttons will be positioned on the right-hand side, with no buttons on the left. The phone’s corners are noticeably rounded, and the bezels around the display are expected to be thin and consistent.

The HONOR 400 will incorporate a display camera hole, whereas the Pro model will feature a pill-shaped cutout. In terms of specifications, the HONOR 400 is expected to house the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. Its rear camera setup will include a 200-megapixel main sensor along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and it will offer 8GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, priced at €499.

Conversely, the HONOR 400 Pro will utilize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, boast a 6.7-inch fullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, and feature a camera system that includes a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. This model is expected to cost €799.
