The new Hisense U7 series Mini-LED QLED TVs are now available for purchase, and they are currently being offered at a limited-time discount. This lineup features sizes ranging from 55 inches to a massive 100 inches, with a 116-inch model expected to release later this summer.
Pricing details for the 116-inch variant are not yet available, but it is anticipated to start at $6,000 or more. Hisense holds the title of the leading TV manufacturer for large screens, particularly those exceeding 85 inches.
The U7 series is positioned as Hisense’s mid-premium offering, delivering maximum performance at a competitive price point. This makes it an excellent choice for gamers who seek advanced gaming features without breaking the bank.
The U7 is equipped with the Hi-View AI Engine Pro processor, which enhances each scene in real time, providing sharper details, richer colors, and lifelike clarity. With a native refresh rate of 165Hz, combined with MEMC and Game Booster 288, users can look forward to a smooth, low-latency experience.
Hisense has also incorporated various gaming technologies into the U7 series, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) from 48Hz to 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode, and Low Latency MEMC. A new feature called Game Bar allows users to manage multiple gaming settings directly from the TV remote and on-screen display.
The U7 series stands out for its impressive brightness, with a peak capability of 3,000 nits. Although this peak brightness is not sustained constantly, the mini-LED backlighting ensures vibrant colors and picture-perfect images.
As a QLED panel, the U7 can display over a billion shades of color without some drawbacks found in OLED displays, such as screen burn-in. Additionally, the U7 series runs on the Google TV operating system, providing access to tens of thousands of apps, including popular services like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube.
Users also benefit from features such as Google Cast, Google Assistant, and integration with Google Home to control smart home devices. Starting at just $799 for the mini-LED QLED model, the U7 series encompasses sizes from $1,299 for the 55-inch model to nearly $4,999 for the 100-inch variant.
