Google appears to be gearing up for the launch of the Pixel 10, as recent leaks have surfaced from an advertisement shoot for the new device. This information originated from a post by @MarksGonePublic, which has since been removed from X. Fortunately, 9to5Google managed to capture the details before the deletion, including photos from the shoot and a storyboard that confirms the device as the Google Pixel 10.
The user who shared the information described the shoot as a “full on commercial” for the Pixel 10, featuring the intriguing tagline “Ask more of your phone.” This slogan likely highlights the anticipated AI features that Google recently announced at Google I/O, particularly a significant update to their Gemini platform. Based on the leaked images, the Pixel 10 resembles the Pixel 9 series, particularly the Pixel 9 Pro.
It maintains the same design elements, including the placement of the power button and volume rocker, while also introducing a third camera lens akin to that of the Pixel 9 Pro. The color depicted in the images appears to be Obsidian (black), though Google traditionally offers a variety of colors.
In the past, color options have included Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), and two additional hues. Last year’s offerings for the base model included Peony and Wintergreen.
Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series around August, mirroring the timing of the Pixel 9 series’ release last year. As the launch approaches, we can anticipate an increase in rumors and leaks surrounding the device.
However, this particular leak stands out as it marks the first time a commercial shoot has revealed details about a new Pixel device so far in advance, setting it apart from previous leaks that often involved stolen devices or factory insights.
