Xbox gamers are in for a nostalgic experience with the introduction of the new Retro Classics category in Xbox Game Pass, as announced by Microsoft. This new collection features over 50 classic games from the 80s and 90s, allowing players to relive the joy of their childhood gaming experiences.

To truly immerse yourself, just turn on your Xbox, put on your headphones, and get ready to rediscover the games that defined a generation. The Retro Classics library is the result of a collaboration between Xbox and Antstream Arcade.

For those unfamiliar with Antstream Arcade, it is a service dedicated to offering a diverse range of classic video games from the arcade era. While not all titles from the Antstream Arcade catalogue will be included in this Xbox partnership, several beloved classics will make the cut.

Access to Xbox Retro Classics is broad, covering PC Game Pass, consoles, and cloud gaming. All Game Pass members, regardless of their subscription plan, can enjoy these classic games wherever Game Pass operates.

However, there is one caveat: in Japan, access is limited to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard, while most other regions can enjoy them through Game Pass Core. The Retro Classics became available on May 22, so if you are a current Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can dive into these nostalgic titles immediately.

If you’re not yet subscribed, signing up will grant you instant access to this extensive library of classic games. Furthermore, Microsoft has plans to expand this collection, aiming to include over 100 titles in the future, with a focus on promoting games from Activision and Blizzard.
