The Sony Xperia 1 VII is set to launch soon, and new live images of the device have just emerged. These images were made public following the phone’s certification by Taiwan’s NCC authority, marking the first time users can see the actual design of the Xperia 1 VII in real life. In the recently released gallery, there are ten images showcasing the phone. While we have previously seen design concepts through CAD-based renders, this is the first glimpse of the device as it will appear in everyday use.
The design aligns closely with previous Xperia models, reflecting Sony’s established aesthetic. The new flagship will be available in three colors: black, navy green, and purple, although the official names may differ. In terms of specifications, the Xperia 1 VII will feature three rear cameras situated in a vertical arrangement at the top-left corner of the back panel, all integrated within a single camera island. The design will include slightly rounded corners, with both the front and back of the device maintaining a flat profile.
Physical buttons will be positioned on the right side, including a dedicated camera shutter key, and an audio jack will be located at the top of the phone. Powering the Xperia 1 VII will likely be the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Preliminary rumors suggest enhancements in the telephoto and ultrawide camera capabilities, though detailed information is still pending. The device is expected to sport a 6.5-inch display, consistent with earlier models.
Given that the Sony Xperia 1 VI was launched in May of the previous year, we anticipate an announcement for the new handset soon, likely in the coming month.
