Samsung is actively expanding the rollout of its One UI 7.0 update to a broader range of devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. The update, which is approximately 5GB in size, is being released in stages, focusing on providing a stable experience for users. The rollout began in South Korea, but it’s likely that users in other regions will receive the update shortly, as global releases usually coincide with the initial launch in Korea. This latest version incorporates not only the enhancements that come with One UI 7.0 but also includes the April 2025 security patch, ensuring devices are better protected against vulnerabilities.

For those who participated in the One UI 7 beta program, the update size will be significantly reduced to around 1GB. Among the notable changes in One UI 7.0 is a major refresh of the user interface. This includes a redesign that features two separate pages for notifications and quick toggles, which can be customized based on user preference. The update also introduces a new app icon design language, along with enhanced animations and transitions for a smoother user experience.

Additionally, Samsung has revamped the UI design for its stock applications, introduced new widget styling, and improved AI capabilities. Enhanced widgets are available for both the home screen and lock screen, adding more functionality and personalization options for users. Despite encountering some bugs that temporarily halted the rollout, Samsung was quick to address these issues, allowing the distribution of One UI 7.0 to proceed without further delays. This is now the second wave of devices receiving the update.
