The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is set to launch in Europe this month. In anticipation of the official release, we are providing exclusive details on the complete specifications and pricing for this new rugged smartphone. Initially revealed in January 2024, the Galaxy XCover7 was designed to endure tough environments.
Early rumors suggested that Samsung was working on the Galaxy XCover8, but a recent FCC listing indicated the brand’s decision to introduce a Pro version instead, leading to the forthcoming launch of the Galaxy XCover7 Pro. In terms of specifications, the Galaxy XCover7 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, as confirmed by a recent Geekbench listing. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
On the photography front, it boasts a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, along with a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies. This camera configuration appears to be a consistent choice, as it mirrors that of the Galaxy XCover6 Pro. The device is equipped with a 4350mAh battery, supporting 15W wired charging.
While the battery capacity has seen a slight increase from the Galaxy XCover6 Pro’s 4050mAh, the charging speed remains unchanged. For security, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. The Galaxy XCover7 Pro is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and meets the MIL-STD-810H military standards.
In terms of storage, the device can support microSD cards up to 2TB and provides a range of connectivity options including Dual SIM, 5G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB-C port. Samsung will offer the Galaxy XCover7 Pro in Black, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at around €599, maintaining the same price point as the Galaxy XCover6 Pro upon its European launch.
