OPPO has unveiled its latest high-end smartphones, the Find X8s, Find X8s+, and the Find X8 Ultra, initially releasing them exclusively in China. The Find X8s stands out as a powerful compact device, equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, garnering significant interest among tech enthusiasts. The Find X8s and its slightly larger counterpart, the Find X8s+, maintain similar designs, differing only in size, weight, and battery capacity.
Both models feature flat frames and surfaces, including a centered camera hole on their AMOLED displays. Their sleek design is accentuated by thin bezels, making for a modern aesthetic. At the back, a round camera module houses three cameras, although the layout varies slightly between the two models.
Both devices have protruding camera modules, complementing their overall look. The right side of the phones hosts the power/lock and volume buttons, while a new customizable action button replaces the alert slider on the left. The Find X8s boasts a 6.32-inch display, while the Find X8s+ features a larger 6.59-inch panel.
Both displays share a resolution of 2760 x 1256 and support a swift 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth user experience. With the Dimensity 9400+ chip, they come equipped with options for 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of battery life, the Find X8s is powered by a 5,700mAh battery, while the Find X8s+ utilizes a 6,000mAh battery, both supporting 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Camera-wise, each device includes a robust 50-megapixel main sensor along with ultrawide and telephoto cameras. The Find X8s measures 150.59 x 71.82 x 7.73mm and weighs 179 grams, whereas the X8s+ is slightly larger and heavier. Color options vary, with the smaller model available in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Cherry Blossom Pink, while the larger model is offered in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Hyacinth Purple.
Both devices are priced between CNY4,199 ($571) and CNY5,499 ($748) for the high-end configurations. Currently, their availability is limited to the Chinese market.
