OnePlus has revealed new details about the upcoming OnePlus 13T, particularly focusing on its camera capabilities. The information includes specifications for the camera system and some impressive portrait samples. The smartphone features two 50-megapixel cameras: a wide-angle camera and a telephoto unit boasting a 2x optical zoom, as well as a “4x lossless zoom” facilitated by software. The company has confirmed that the primary camera will utilize a Sony sensor, likely the LYT-700, although this has not been officially verified.

The telephoto camera, featuring a 2x telephoto lens, is designed explicitly for portrait photography. Alongside these specifications, OnePlus has shared several samples taken with the telephoto lens, showcasing the device’s capabilities in different lighting and settings. Reviewing the shared photo samples indicates a high-quality output. The images are well-composed, showcasing vibrant colors, balanced exposure, and sharp details—except for one image that appears to have a noticeable filter applied.

These samples illustrate the potential of the OnePlus 13T’s camera system. In addition to the camera details, the overall design of the OnePlus 13T has been increasingly revealed. The phone recently made an appearance in an official video, and various color options have been showcased, alongside an unofficial unboxing. Operating on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the OnePlus 13T will sport a 6.3-inch flat display with minimal bezels, positioning it as a compact flagship smartphone.

It will come with a robust 6,000mAh battery, promising rapid wired and wireless charging capabilities. Scheduled for an official launch on April 24 in China, the OnePlus 13T is shaping up to be a formidable contender in the smartphone market.
