A recent leak has shed light on the design of the Motorola Edge 60 Ultra, the most advanced smartphone in Motorola’s lineup of foldables. This report highlights key specifications and design features ahead of its anticipated release in 2025, which is shaping up to be a significant year for the brand. Motorola is revitalizing its iconic “Razr” branding, leveraging modern technology to bring classic designs back to life. The next major addition to this series will be the Razr 60, with the Ultra variant making waves due to its premium specifications.

The Razr 60 Ultra stands out as the flagship model, with some regions set to receive it as the Motorola Razr 60 Plus. One key difference from the standard model is the design, which offers a full-view experience on the external display, while the standard Razr 60 has a more pronounced bezel around the hinge area. Leaked images reveal that the design closely resembles that of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, featuring two camera sensors and an LED flash that occupy space on the screen. This design choice is influenced by current technological constraints, but potential unseen durability enhancements may be integrated as well.

Notably, Twitter leaker @evleaks released wallpapers intended for the Razr 60 Ultra’s external display. In terms of specifications, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is expected to be powerful, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Additionally, it supports an extra 16GB of “virtual” RAM by utilizing internal storage. The device includes a 4,700 mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging.

It also boasts impressive displays: a 7-inch internal screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 4-inch external display with a full HD resolution. Both the main and front-facing cameras are equipped with a 50 MP resolution, allowing for high-quality selfies using the external display as a viewfinder. The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will run Android 15, incorporating Moto AI features, with a promise of three major OS updates.
